Holt – our first mountain bike. Unashamedly XC. All of our knowledge distilled into an XC hardtail – with an emphasis on creating the perfect Ultra-distance race machine.
Ridden to a course record victory in the 2024 Highland Trail 550 by Alex McCormack. The bike is designed to be fast and efficient, with class leading compliance and comfort.
Steel excels at making a short travel hard tail, by not over-building the frame we’ve been able to focus on maintaining the ‘quality of the material’, to deliver a ride feel that can only be steel.

Custom Reynolds 853 Tubing – made for Fairlight
Reynolds have been our valued partner since we started in 2016. Their reputation for quality and integrity is legendary. We work hand in glove with them, allowing us to design comfort, stiffness, and longevity into our bikes.
Design Focus
Heavily flattened chainstays and seatstays provide comfort. Bi-ovalised down tube for pedalling power transfer.
Our frames are technically challenging to make. But we think the effort is worth it.
Clearance for 29in x 62mm (2.4″) tyres
Heavily shaped chainstays allow for use to optimise for comfort while maintaining good tyre clearances.
27.2 Seatpost – Maximum Compliance
Using a 27.2 post allows for greater comfort when running a rigid post. Variety of dropper posts available with up to 125mm drop.
Fairlight Custom 3D Printed Parts
Custom 3D printed cable guides allow for super-clean cable routing.
Configurable from 1x with rigid post to 1x mechanical with dropper.

Build Options
A summary of our base spec build options and pricing. All bikes are fully configurable. Upgrades including Hope or Chris King headsets, alternative wheels (Hunt, Hope & DT Swiss), alternative tyre options and even King Cage bottle cages. Every bike is assembled from start to finish by a single mechanic and built just for you.
